Job summary

A leading global logistics company is looking for a Seasonal Customer Service Representative in Whitby, Canada. This temporary position requires providing accurate information and assistance to customers, performing administrative tasks, and promoting sales. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience in a pressured environment. Duration is approximately 12 weeks, with specific hours from Thursday to Monday.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Canadian Customs regulations preferred.
  • Knowledge of FedEx Express and Ground products and services preferred.
  • Must be able to operate in a PC Windows environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet minimum requirements for mandatory testing and training.

Overview

This is an interview position.

To provide accurate information and assistance to customers requiring direct customer interface. To perform administrative duties necessary for efficient operations. Promotes continued sales and generating potential incremental revenue wherever possible.

  • Promote ongoing sales and generate potential incremental revenue where possible.
  • Complete and achieve minimum thresholds on all mandatory testing and training.
  • Operate in a PC Windows environment.
  • Handle stress effectively in a highly pressured, monitored and changing work environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college diploma preferred.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Customs regulations preferred.
  • Knowledge of FedEx Express and Ground products and services preferred.

Additional Details
  • Seasonal CSR Position – Thursday – Monday (Tuesday & Wednesday OFF). Time: 4:30 PM – 9:29 PM. Approximately 5-hour shift.
  • This is a temporary position for up to 12 weeks based on business and operational needs. Will be unposted on Sept 30.
  • Note: Quebec candidates should be bilingual (French and English).
