Job summary

Linde Canada Inc. in Ottawa, ON, is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative / Customer Care Associate to coordinate referrals, verify funding, process orders, and support inside sales.

You will manage customer data, assist Territory Managers, and ensure accurate billing and timely mailings. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with at least two years of customer service experience and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills are considered an asset.
• A commitment to safety is essential for this role.
• Ability to manage relationships with existing and new customers, while maintaining knowledge of growth and development areas in home care sales.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telephone referrals, verify eligibility criteria and appropriate funding, and set up clients for home oxygen therapy and related healthcare services.
• Receive and process client walk-in or phone orders, inquiries, and/or issues covering items or products ordered along with showroom sales and inquiries from walk-in clients.
• Provide complete and accurate account setup and pricing data, and maintain the ongoing accuracy of customer information.
• Support Territory Managers by balancing inside sales and customer service duties, helping the team achieve targeted sales budgets.
• Collect payments to ensure customer accounts remain current and track customer orders in JDE to confirm delivery and billing are completed.
• Daily cash reconciliation and preparing bank deposits.
• Ensure all outgoing mail is sent daily.
