Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada & Bermuda maintains facilities with routine cleaning, safety, and customer service in mind. This part‑time role requires independent work, reliability, and attention to health & safety standards while supporting a respectful, clean environment.

Experience with cleaning procedures and ability to lift up to 30 lbs are preferred; accommodations are available as needed to support applicants and employees.

Qualifications

• Completion of Secondary School.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards.
• Ability to follow procedures and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and custodial duties to keep the facility clean, safe and welcoming.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and high-touch surfaces.
• Restock supplies and manage waste and recycling.
• Monitor and report maintenance concerns to supervisor.
• Operate cleaning equipment in accordance with safety rules.
