Description of Duties
Luther College at the University of Regina (www.luthercollege.edu/university) invites applications for a casual term position in the Luther College Cafeteria beginning in September 2026 until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the Manager of Food Services, the Culinary Services Worker supports cafeteria operations with various kitchen and sanitation tasks. This position description encompasses roles previously categorized as Counter Attendant, Cafeteria Assistant, Cafeteria Worker, Food Services Worker, Dishwasher, Salad Bar Attendant and General Help. This is a casual position with shifts scheduled on an as-needed basis.
This position is routinely in contact with students, faculty, staff, and senior administration as well as conference and catering guests. External contacts may include delivery personnel, inspectors from regulatory bodies, and the general public.
The position requires shift work including a combination of evening and weekend hours. Working hours can be irregular and extended hours will be required from time to time.
The starting salary range for this position is $16.79.
