Job summary

LutherCare Communities is seeking a Housekeeper in Saskatoon for a temporary, full-time role (up to 1 year). Responsibilities include cleaning resident suites, making beds, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, cleaning floors and bathrooms, and light dusting. WHMIS training required within three months and English fluency is essential.

Hours are 40 per week. Benefits include enhanced time off, wellness programs, and pension plan, among others.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 10 education (preferably Grade 12).
• WHMIS training required within three months of employment.
• Ability to operate all housekeeping equipment.
• Read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

The Position:

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning of resident's suites and the building, common areas which includes: making beds, changing linens, vacuuming of carpets, cleaning linoleum floors, cleaning the bathroom and light dusting.

Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time (up to 1 year)

Hours of Work:40hours per week.

The Applicants:

Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 10 education (preferably Grade 12), and previous housekeeping experience is preferred. WHMIS training is required within three months of employment. Applicants must have the ability to operate all housekeeping equipment and be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work unsupervised and be physically able to handle all required position duties
