Job summary

Autismservices in Canada is looking for a Dishwasher to join our team at Luther Riverside Terrace. The Dishwasher will be responsible for ensuring all cooking equipment is clean and sanitized while working closely with kitchen staff.

This is a permanent, part-time position with a rotation schedule spanning six days. Applicants should have at least a grade 10 education, dishwashing experience, and be physically capable of performing duties.

Qualifications

• Preferable dishwashing experience in a commercial food establishment.
• WHMIS training required within three months of employment.
• Physically able to perform assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all cooking equipment used in meal preparation is clean and sanitized.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen team members.

The Position

In support of the Vision, Mission and Values of LutherCare Communities, we are seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher will work together with the kitchen team members to ensure that all cooking equipment used in the preparation and service of meals is clean and sanitized.

The Rotation

3 days rotation:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Tuesday: 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Applicants

Applicants would typically qualify for this position with a grade 10 education (preferably grade 12) and preferably dishwashing experience in a commercial food establishment. The incumbent is required to have WHMIS training within three months of employment. Applicants must be physically able to perform the assigned duties and have the ability to operate the dishwasher. The ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently is required.
