Job summary

Compass Group Canada (Beaver) Ltd. is seeking a Culinary Administrator to act as the administrative backbone of the Premium Spaces Culinary team.

You will schedule approximately 160 unionized employees and support HR matters, including discipline and workplace incidents, while leading HSQA audits on event nights. You will publish schedules, manage trades and leaves, monitor hours, and coordinate post-event debriefs with action plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in foodservice or hospitality is a strong asset.
• Experience in administration, scheduling, or HR support in unionized environments is helpful.
• Ability to interpret collective agreements, especially seniority rules.
• Proficiency with MS Office and scheduling software.
• Bilingual in French and English required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and publish schedules per seniority provisions of the collective agreement.
• Manage shift trades, vacations, leaves, and replacements with the Executive Sous Chef.
• Monitor hours, overtime, and flag compliance risks.
• Track attendance and disciplinary documentation with Human Resources.
• Coordinate injury follow-up, incident reports, and return-to-work processes.
• Maintain confidential employee records with accuracy.
• Audit kitchens with sanitation, health, safety, and quality checklists.
• Lead post-event debriefs and develop corrective action plans.
