Job summary

Compass Group Canada (Beaver) Ltd. is seeking an experienced hospitality supervisor to assist the manager on duty, coordinating activities of associates across food service units.

You will supervise staff, ensure service quality, manage schedules, and uphold HACCP and safety standards. The role requires 2–3 years of progressive hospitality experience in executive dining or luxury settings, with strong customer service and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of progressive hospitality experience in executive dining or high-end settings.
• Experience executing plated meal service, executive dining, VIP events, boardroom service.
• Ability to lead front-of-house teams with professional presence.
• Knowledge of fine dining standards, banquet service, wine and beverage service.
• Strong customer service, communication, and guest relation skills.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional events.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager on duty with coordinating activities of associates within the food service department while maintaining customer service standards.
• Supervise multiple food service units and assist Shift Managers in operations.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
• Track inventories, weekly reporting, and cost controls for labour and food.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance, health and safety programs, HACCP, and WHMIS.
• Maintain professional communications with patrons and guests and address issues promptly.
