Job summary

Intact Insurance is seeking a Credit Control professional to lead broker account workloads from Halifax. The role focuses on collecting premiums to terms, reconciling accounts and minimising debt exposure while delivering high service standards to internal and external customers.

You’ll engage with stakeholders to resolve issues, prioritise daily activities and maintain accurate policy records, within a hybrid working model that supports balance between collaboration and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload of broker accounts, collecting premium to terms to minimise debt exposure and risk.
• Cash allocation and reconciliation of broker accounts to ensure accurate debt position.
• Deal directly with internal and external customers to deliver high standard of customer service.
• Identify and resolve issues to maximise collection activity and accuracy of policy records.
• Plan and prioritise daily activities to investigate financial transactions and influence solutions to problems.
• Engage with customers and colleagues to maintain open lines of communication and prompt resolution of issues arising.
