Job summary

Intact is seeking a Sales and Customer Service Associate for its inbound call center in Vancouver. You will become a trusted advisor, helping Canadians protect what matters most, with mentoring and training to reach career goals.

Start date is October 30, 2026, location Vancouver, 35 hours per week. The role offers a hybrid work model, ongoing bonuses, and a clear accelerated path to promotion after six months.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience required; previous call center experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in sales and customer loyalty is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for customers and colleagues, and the ability to understand and empathize with others.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in optimally protecting our customers' assets by advising them on insurance products, answering product questions and guiding them through next steps.
• Analyze individual customer needs, promote and cross-sell personal insurance products and services.
• Accept and efficiently process payment method changes, ensuring customer accounts are updated accurately.
• Handle telephone and electronic inquiries from existing customers in a professional and timely manner.
