Job summary

The successful candidate will hold BC Certification, bring elementary teaching experience, strong classroom management, and the ability to engage diverse learners with varied strategies while embedding local Indigenous culture into daily practice.

Starting salary ranges from 71,425 to 119,497 CAD per year, with a Remote Recruitment and Retention allowance of 3,500 CAD payable over ten months.

Qualifications

• BC Certification required.
• Experience teaching elementary level Applied Design Skills and Tech.
• Ability to embed local Indigenous culture into teaching practices.
• Ability to work with multi-age groups and adapt for varied learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary (Kindergarten–Grade 7) with ADST and prep coverage.
• Collaborate with staff and communicate with parents in a team-based setting.
• Employ diverse teaching strategies to meet learners' needs.
• Integrate technology to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Support literacy and assessment practices within the RTI framework.
