Job summary

EMCO Corporation is seeking a Counter Salesperson to provide sales support to walk-in customers at our Profit Centre counters. You will maintain a clean, stocked counter and deliver the highest level of customer service while answering questions and processing orders.

You will assist with merchandising, research products, and help drive sales growth by promoting items and coordinating with Inside and Outside Sales.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates.
• Ability to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales support to walk-in customers at Profit Centre counters.
• Maintain, stock, and keep a clean counter sales area.
• Answer questions, pick, and enter orders and follow up on backorders.
• Support Inside Sales and Outside Sales functions.
• Assist customers purchasing material at the Profit Centre counters.
• Research product for customers and provide recommendations on our assortment of product.
• Drive sales growth through counter merchandising and product promotion.
