Job summary

Universal Supply (Division of Emco Corporation) provides walk-in customers with sales support at Profit Centre counters, ensuring a clean, stocked area and answering product questions. You will assist with order entry, pick/pack, and follow-ups on backorders while supporting Inside and Outside Sales teams.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or higher; college/university degree is an asset.
• At least 2 years of customer service or counter sales experience.
• Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building with customers, vendors, and teammates.
• Ability to learn and operate the order processing software.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at Profit Centre counters.
• Research products and recommend assortments.
• Drive sales growth through merchandising and lead generation.
• Enter, pick, and pack sales orders.
• Maintain counter area and displays.
• Inform the buyer when stock is low.
• Follow up on backorders with vendors and provide delivery dates.
• Process returns and warranty claims.
• Navigate customer concerns and resolve complaints.
• Perform other tasks as needed by the Profit Centre Manager.
