Job summary

Wolseley Canada Inc. is seeking a customer-focused sales/quotations role on-site in Grande Prairie.

You will act as the first point of contact, providing product knowledge, handling inquiries by phone, email, or in-person, and preparing quotations for urgent contracting jobs. The role requires prior sales or customer service experience in wholesale or distribution, with local HVAC/Plumbing knowledge and proficiency in MS Office; AS400 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous technical experience in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution.
• Local HVAC and Plumbing knowledge is an asset.
• Exceptional customer service and professional communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt product knowledge and information to customers professionally.
• Respond to customers in person, by phone, or via email.
• Prepare small order quotations for urgent contracting jobs.
• Pick customer orders from warehouse.
• Perform product research in catalogs and online.
• Verify item availability for customers and scheduled orders.
• Build positive relationships with customers and associates.
• Maintain stock of the counter area as needed.
• Offer help in the warehouse when required.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for building positive relationships with customers and associates
• Take initiative to maintain stock of the counter area as needed
• Offer help and assistance in the warehouse if required

What You Will Bring

• Previous technical experience in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution required
• Local market knowledge with HVAC and Plumbing will be an asset
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office required. Experience with AS400 an asset.
• Must have exceptional customer service and professional communication skills
