Job summary

Wolseley Canada Inc. in Edmonton is seeking a customer-focused professional to join our wholesale team. You will be the first point of contact, delivering product knowledge and assisting customers in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle warranties, process credits and returns, move stock back to the warehouse, and build strong relationships with customers and associates. HVAC/Plumbing knowledge and MS Office are preferred; AS400 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous technical experience in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution.
• Local market knowledge with HVAC and Plumbing will be an asset.
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office required. Experience with AS400 an asset.
• Must have exceptional customer service and professional communication skills.
• Previous warehouse/forklift experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• As the first point of contact you will be required to offer prompt product knowledge and information to customers in a professional manner
• Answer questions about warranties and returns
• Process credits and return to vendor products
• Moving returned products back into the warehouse
• Respond to customers in a timely manner in person, by phone or email
• Responsible for building positive relationships with customers and associates
• Take initiative to maintain stock of the counter area as needed
• Offer help and assistance in the warehouse if required
