Job summary

Worley in Calgary, AB, is seeking an Intermediate Cost Analyst to join our team and support cost management across engineering projects. Based in Calgary, you will develop monthly cost reports, forecast costs, and administer monthly incurred cost flow while ensuring budgets are tracked with WBS/CBS coding.

You will work on ESG-aligned, multi-discipline projects and coordinate change management, updates to cost forecasts, and month-end reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in cost management, earned value, cash flows, invoice support, and performance measurement.
• Project Controls experience working on engineering projects.
• Proficiency in EcoSys® an asset.
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Measurement in engineering, procurement & construction.
• Cost engineering and estimating knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of, and the interrelationship of a good technical project scope definition, quality of the schedule and estimate, construction sequence and execution, procurement and contracting strategies, commissioning and start up.

Responsibilities

• Development of monthly cost report and cost forecast.
• Set up and administration of monthly incurred cost flow.
• Setting of original budget and estimate recast.
• Ensure costs are tracked properly with appropriate use of WBS and CBS coding.
• Change management coordination.
• Administration and maintenance of Ecosys.
• Consolidation and development of month end cost and progress reporting.
