Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Canada is seeking an Inventory and Procurement specialist to manage stock levels, create purchase orders, and coordinate with vendors across Brandt’s network. You will ensure timely replenishment and accurate inventory across multiple branches.

The role emphasizes data analysis, forecasting, and process improvements using ERP systems, Excel, and VBA to build tools that streamline workflows.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant parts experience or post-secondary education in Business Administration, Mathematics, Analytics, or similar discipline would be asset.
  • Knowledge or experience within ERP systems.
  • Excellent aptitude for data analysis to derive meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use Excel/VBA to create tools for the department that are intuitive, efficient, reliable and repeatable.
  • Exceptional forecasting ability with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to put in extra time to get the job done.
  • Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Identify inventory items for purchase or reorder.
  • Create Purchase Orders.
  • Place Orders with vendors using a variety of methods such as our Dealer Business System, Vendor Portals and Email.
  • Respond to Branch requests for all required parts orders.
  • Ensure items with long lead times are ordered in sufficient time to meet demands.
  • Perform parts inventory stock leveling between branches.
  • Work with key stakeholders across the Brandt network in order to respond quickly to changing requirements.
  • Recommend enhancements to systems and processes as a part of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and recommend adjustments to specific inventory levels.
  • Analyze and problem solve issues by stepping back to understand the broader context of the problem.
  • Other duties as assigned.
