Job summary

Aviso Wealth is seeking a Transfers Administrator for a six-month assignment with the Transfers team in Toronto. Reporting to the Supervisor, Transfers, you will process transfers, review approvals, and handle escalations in a fast-paced financial services environment.

You should be collaborative, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple requests while meeting service level agreements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Dataphile, Fundserv, CDS and DTCC are assets.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of back-office administration in a financial securities firm.
• Extremely detail oriented and accurate.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities to meet deadlines.
• Team player with cross-department collaboration mindset.
• Desire to become a subject matter expert over time.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process transfer in requests according to SLAs.
• Monitor the transfers mailbox and incoming mail.
• Initiate transfers including internal transfers.
• Track status and follow up on transfers.
• Provide operational support for transfers to external institutions.
• File transfer documents and shred printed copies.
• Review and respond to transfers inquiries.
• Cover others in the Transfers Department as needed.
• Handle special projects or other assignments.
