Job summary

The incumbent will support policy compliance, participate in IT security assessments, and coordinate with cross-Canadian teams to implement tools and processes across Sobeys stores and offices. Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in adult education, instructional design, information architecture, education, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and personal leadership skills with the ability to build internal and external relationships.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility and adaptability to embrace change on short notice.
• Knowledge of learning and development trends and analytics; focus on learner impact.

Responsibilities

• Administer learning platforms (Udemy, Axonify); manage users, groups, permissions, and license counts; troubleshoot and create learning pathways.
• Support Backstage onboarding program by evaluating effectiveness; organize Shop Talk sessions; manage stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee language learning program; assess learner needs; monitor metrics and expenditures.
• Contribute to IT security assessments.
• Manage team budget, inbox, onboarding/offboarding needs, and departmental invoices.
• Track expenditures and report against budget; monitor project budgets and provide reporting.
• Manage shared mailbox and respond to inquiries; support onboarding/offboarding for augmented staff.
• Support tuition reimbursement policy compliance and training accreditation activities.
