Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is hiring a Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead the Corporate TA team and drive recruitment best practices in support of our TA and DE&I strategies.

You will mentor teammates, build stakeholder relationships, and own the end-to-end candidate experience across Canada. The role requires a robust background in recruitment, coaching, and program ownership, with bilingual capabilities to collaborate with teams from multiple provinces and Sobeys brands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years in HR or Talent Acquisition Lead capacity.
• 7+ years end-to-end recruitment experience; 3+ in corporate recruitment.
• Experience directing relationships with Hiring Managers, Candidates and vendor relationships.
• Experience delivering processes, tools and programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Corporate TA team to deliver best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experiences from entry-level to executive roles.
• Create and maintain a culture focused on coaching and development.
• Allocate requisitions, oversee team follow-up and maintain accurate recruitment records.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to establish trust and credibility in delivery of a value-add service; leverage data for stakeholders.
• Own the total candidate experience across all company touchpoints.
• Identify and implement new sourcing methods for hard-to-fill roles.
• Partner with Recruitment Marketing to monitor needs, ROI and success.
• Own recruitment projects, initiatives, and programs.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance effectiveness and service levels for clients.
• Develop Hiring Manager knowledge through interview coaching and techniques.
