Job summary

Simon Fraser University is seeking a Coordinator, Executive Education to provide operational and administrative leadership for a portfolio of executive education programs.

The role coordinates program delivery, student services, event logistics, faculty support, budget tracking, admissions and registration activities, program evaluation, and stakeholder communications across in-person, online and blended learning environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Two years of coordinating administration and delivery of programs.
  • Experience in event planning, program/project management, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with LMS and enterprise information systems.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

Launched in 1999, Executive Education (Exec Ed) has over two decades of experience working with middle and senior-level management professionals in organizations and developing customized non-credit and credit-based education programs. Long-term partnerships guide programming that enables a deep understanding of clients' needs and the design of custom programs to address those needs.

About the Role

The Coordinator, Executive Education provides operational and administrative leadership for a portfolio of executive education programs. The role coordinates program delivery, student services, event logistics, faculty support, budget tracking, admissions and registration activities, program evaluation, and stakeholder communications. Working closely with faculty, clients, students, and university partners, the Coordinator helps ensure high-quality program delivery and exceptional participant experiences across in-person, online, and blended learning environments.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and client-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously. They are an effective communicator, relationship builder, and problem solver with strong project coordination and administrative skills. The successful candidate demonstrates attention to detail, sound judgment, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to learners, faculty, clients, and partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline, and two years of related experience in coordinating the administration and delivery of custom credit and/or non-credit programs, including experience in event planning, program/project management, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Additional Information

The assignment end date is October 19, 2028.

This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to support program delivery, residencies, events, and participant activities.
