Job summary

The Barley Mill Pub Ltd. O/A Barley Mill Brew Pub in Penticton, BC is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment with an hourly wage of 20.00 and 30–35 hours per week.

This permanent, full-time role requires 1 year to less than 2 years of cooking experience, and may involve evenings, weekends and overtime. Relocation costs are covered by the employer, and work is on-site at our Penticton location.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent is required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a cooking/kitchen role.

Responsibilities

• Determine the size of food portions and costs.
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
