Prairie HVAC/R, part of the IR Pros organization, is seeking a detail-oriented Controls / Electrical Drafter to join our Winnipeg team. You will prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs for HVAC, refrigeration, and building automation projects, collaborating with engineers and technicians.

Ideal candidates have AutoCAD and Visio experience, read engineering drawings, and bring strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance with drafting standards.

About IR Pros / Prairie HVAC/RPrairie HVAC/R, part of the IR Pros organization, provides HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and controls solutions to commercial and industrial customers.Our teams work together to design, install, service, and support reliable systems while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service.We are seeking a detail-oriented Controls / Electrical Drafter to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba.Position OverviewThe Controls / Electrical Drafter supports our controls, electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC teams by preparing accurate technical drawings and project documentation.This position works closely with project managers, engineers, controls specialists, technicians, purchasing, and other team members to ensure drawings, Bills of Materials, and project records accurately reflect specifications and field conditions.The ideal candidate has experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio, understands basic electrical and drafting principles, and is comfortable working with technical specifications, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials.
