Job description

Job Description: Contracts Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Contracts Administrator to join our client's team in North-West Edmonton on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in managing high-volume administrative tasks and a passion for compliance. The position involves supporting internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer full-cycle contract processes, including onboarding and offboarding for Owner Operators
  • Track and manage compliance for business documentation and background checks
  • Issue and manage notices related to noncompliance
  • Maintain databases, trackers, and filing systems—both electronic and paper
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure compliance and proper contract execution
  • Review and validate site budgets related to Owner Operator contracts
  • Manage revisions, sign-offs, and follow-ups on contracts and work authorizations
  • Provide regular status reports to operations and relevant business units
  • Conduct audits and investigations into payroll irregularities and compliance gaps
  • Respond to inquiries from Owner Operators regarding policies, procedures, and contract matters
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, Accounting, and Purchasing on account reconciliation and investigations
  • Provide backup support for reception and assist other offices with administrative tasks
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a high-volume administrative position
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work with a diverse team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SmartSheet and CRM systems is a plus
  • Diploma or Degree in Administrative or Contract Management (preferred)
