Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Rutherford, ON is seeking an experienced Centre Administrator to support the Centre Director in daily operations and staff development. You will ensure compliance with provincial licensing, supervise payroll and communications, and maintain a safe, engaging environment for children.

Ideal candidates hold RECE credentials, have knowledge of Ontario regulations, and can lead staff training.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
• Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and regulations for childcare centres.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Up-to-date immunization and Health Assessment as per local health requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification; Montessori training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Centre Director with managing overall operation of the centre.
• Recruitment and development of staff; manage policies and procedures.
• Handle payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general communications.
• Ensure compliance with Ontario licensing and regulations.
• Implement and ensure staff training; uphold child safety and hygiene.
• Communicate effectively with families about their child; perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

• Assisting Centre Director with managing the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.
• Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Managing administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.
• Understanding and enforcing all province regulations within the building.
• Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.
• Providing effective communication with families about their child.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
