Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic filing of documentation.

Job description

Contract Administrator

The Contract Administrator position offers an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join the Project and Finance team at LMS Reinforcing Steel Group. Reporting to the Contract Manager, this role will oversee and maintain all Change Orders related to awarded contracts.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and set up folders for Change Orders for each contracted project across three divisions.
  2. Set up templates and scan documents to the network folder (change orders, correspondence, drawings, etc.).
  3. Review contracts for items related to additional rates, allowances, etc., pertaining to Change Orders.
  4. Process, obtain internal approvals, and distribute changes to customers.
  5. Communicate with customers, answer questions, and follow up on outstanding items.
  6. Perform data entry as required.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • College diploma or certificate in Office Administration is an asset.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with electronic filing of documentation.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of emails and daily change order output.
Job Details:
  • Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
  • Location: In-office position (work from home not available)
  • Flexibility to meet work hours as required
