Job summary

Inverary Manor in Inverness, NS is seeking a Certified Continuing Care Assistant to support residents with daily living and personal care. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and assist in planning daily resident leisure activities.

You will also perform light housekeeping, assist with delegated tasks, and report on resident status and safety to the RN/LPN Supervisor, contributing to a compassionate, collaborative care

Qualifications

• Certified Continuing Care Assistant credential required.
• Experience assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, meals).
• Ability to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Collaborates on Resident Care Plan with the team.

At Inverary Manor, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents in Inverness, NS. We are currently seeking a Certified Continuing Care Assistant who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our community.

Your Role

As a Certified Continuing Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily activities and personal care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assists residents with personal care and activities of daily living, such as: bathing, dressing, oral care, skin care, meals, and mobilizing according to the work assignment;

• Collaborates with the resident and other members of the interdisciplinary team in the development of individualized Resident Care Plan;

• Plans and/or assists in the planning and implementation of resident leisure activities on a daily basis;

• Performs cleaning duties after mealtimes and assists with light housekeeping duties in resident rooms;

• Performs delegated tasks as determined by scope of employment;

• Communicates and reports relevant information regarding resident status and safety to RN/LPN Supervisor.
