Job summary

Inverary Manor in Inverness, NS is seeking a Certified Continuing Care Assistant to support residents with daily living and personal care. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and assist in planning daily resident leisure activities.

You will also perform light housekeeping, assist with delegated tasks, and report on resident status and safety to the RN/LPN Supervisor, contributing to a compassionate, collaborative care

Qualifications

• Certified Continuing Care Assistant credential required.
• Experience assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, meals).
• Ability to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Collaborates on Resident Care Plan with the team.
• Plans and assists in daily resident leisure activities.
• Performs light housekeeping and post-meal cleaning.
• Performs delegated tasks as determined by scope of employment.
• Reports resident status and safety to RN/LPN Supervisor.
