Foyer Père Fiset in Chéticamp, NS is seeking a Certified Continuing Care Assistant for in-person care of residents. You will support daily living activities, collaborate with the care team, and contribute to individualized care plans while promoting engagement and well-being.

• Certification as Continuing Care Assistant is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists residents with personal care and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, oral care, skin care, meals, mobility) per work assignment.
• Collaborates with residents and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized Resident Care Plans.
• Plans and assists with daily resident leisure activities.
• Performs cleaning duties after meals and light housekeeping in resident rooms.
• Performs delegated tasks within scope of employment.
• Communicates and reports relevant information on resident status and safety to RN/LPN Supervisor.

About the Role

As a Certified Continuing Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assists residents with personal care and activities of daily living, such as: bathing, dressing, oral care, skin care, meals, and mobilizing according to the work assignment;
• Collaborates with the resident and other members of the interdisciplinary team in the development of individualized Resident Care Plan;
• Plans and/or assists in the planning and implementation of resident leisure activities on a daily basis;
• Performs cleaning duties after mealtimes and assists with light housekeeping duties in resident rooms;
• Performs delegated tasks as determined by scope of employment;
• Communicates and reports relevant information regarding resident status and safety to RN/LPN Supervisor.
