Job summary

CapWest Group of Companies is seeking a Junior Coordinator to support site operations on multifamily construction projects, from preconstruction to on-site coordination. You will assist with procurement, logistics, and tracking progress against the project schedule in a fast-paced environment.

You hold a post-secondary diploma in Engineering, Construction Coordination, or a related field, and you are organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education – Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Coordination, or related field an asset.
• Strong communicator with high attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing site environment.
• Proactive and solution-oriented, able to follow up and close out tasks without reminders.
• Organized, reliable, and able to enforce process without conflict.
• Knowledge of SharePoint, Smartsheet, OneDrive, and basic construction or cost-tracking software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Site Operations Support with daily coordination, sequencing, and tracking progress against the project schedule.
• Help coordinate delivery, staging, and movement of materials, equipment, tables, crane sections, crane picks, placements, etc.
• Assist in identifying, tracking, and communicating deficiencies and outstanding work items.
• Equipment updates, logs, inspections, and renewal dates; support inventory tracking across sites.
• Coordinate service calls or equipment swaps; track and submit all equipment documentation.
• Place orders for materials and trucking; receive deliveries; maintain materials logs; enter and track purchase orders.
