Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Canada is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Cold Lake, AB to support plan and specification analysis and ensure coordinated interpretations of design drawings for construction. You will prepare RFIs, submittals, and manage subcontracts to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

You will work with the Construction Manager to identify issues, track deliverables, and maintain schedules, with experience in self-performed work and scheduling software considered

Qualifications

• Requires construction-related degree and 3+ years of construction experience.
• Experience with plan/spec analysis and interpreting design drawings for construction is required.
• Experience with concrete & formwork scopes is an asset.
• Ability to support the project team and resolve issues with scheduling/software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plan and specification analysis to interpret designs for construction.
• Prepare RFIs, transmit and track submittals, and maintain expediting lists.
• Develop and monitor the construction schedule to deliver on time and budget.
• Administration and management of subcontracts including compliance and changes.
