Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Cold Lake, AB is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator to lead site safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance. You will perform site safety orientations, conduct inspections, and manage incident reporting to uphold a safety-first culture.

The role requires 3–5 years of safety construction experience, knowledge of OHS regulations, and an active CSID (PWSGC) Secret Level clearance. Preference for NCSO designation and Alberta First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of safety construction experience.
• Ability to delegate and influence others on safety rules.
• Knowledge of OHS regulations and CSID (PWSGC) security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for site-specific safety orientation, inspections, and incident reporting.
• Monitor on-site workers and subcontractors for safety compliance and escalate issues.
• Identify hazards and take corrective actions to prevent incidents.
• Organize training programs including WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid.
• Create and maintain a safety-first culture across the site.
