Job summary

Aloha Landscapes in Vancouver is seeking a skilled concrete worker to join our on-site team. You will check formwork and materials, pour and finish concrete, and ensure surfaces meet grade and depth specifications.

English proficiency required; on-site work only in the Metro Vancouver region. Prior experience of 1 year to less than 2 years is expected and valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
• On-site work only; no remote option.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials.
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
