Job summary

East Elegant Concrete Services Inc. is seeking an experienced concrete worker to support projects across Alberta. The role requires checking formwork, reinforcing materials, finishing concrete surfaces, and reading blueprints to ensure specifications are met.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in concrete, can operate power vibrators and hand tools, and is prepared for physically demanding work in dusty, hot, and noisy site environments. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years to less than 5 years of concrete experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
