Job summary

Melrose Paving - COR Certified! is seeking an experienced concrete finisher for on-site work in Mississauga. The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience and the ability to work outdoors in dusty conditions.

You will perform concrete finishing tasks, operate power vibrators, and level surfaces to specification. The job involves installing fixtures, curing treatments, and repairing surfaces as needed on roads, drives, and sidewalks.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in concrete finishing.
• On-site work at physical location; no remote option.
• Must be able to work outdoors in dusty conditions.
• Physically demanding work with bending, crouching, kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
• Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
