Job summary

GardaWorld in Canada is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard to monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, and help keep facilities secure across centres, sites, and gatehouses.

The role emphasizes sharp observation, attention to detail, and the ability to report clearly. A valid security license and authorization to work in Canada are required.

We offer training through GardaWorld Academy, flexible schedules including full-time and part-time shifts, and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification - asset / required.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and checkvisitoridentification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
