Gray Collection in Montréal seeks a dedicated Concierge to elevate guest experiences through gastronomy, culture, and design awareness. You will anticipate guest needs, share discoveries, and collaborate with the Front Desk to exceed expectations while managing inquiries via phone, email, and in person.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, is fluent in French and English, and embraces knowledge of local attractions and events to enhance stays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar hotel concierge or front desk role.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS is an asset.
• Bilingual French/English; third language is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Provide personalized recommendations to guests based on interests and length of stay.
• Respond to guest requests by phone, email, and in person during all phases of stay.
• Coordinate check-ins/check-outs and reservations with Front Desk; assist with follow-up.

The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about gastronomy, culture, and design, and who enjoys sharing their discoveries with people from around the world. They have a strong interest in local culture and are constantly seeking out what makes Montréal a unique destination in North America. As a key contributor throughout the guest experience, the Concierge anticipates guests’ needs and demonstrates creativity in carrying out their responsibilities. They contribute to the team's success by sharing their discoveries and knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide personalized service to guests by recommending local attractions and activities based on their interests, budget, and length of stay;
• Respond to various requests by phone, email, and in person, before, during, and after guests’ stays;
• Follow up efficiently on guest requests;
• Work closely with the Front Desk team to identify and exceed guest expectations;
• Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations;
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls;
• Perform various administrative tasks related to concierge services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Significant experience in a similar role and/or within a hotel Front Desk department;
• Knowledge of hotel property management software (Opera is an asset);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Passion for Montréal and its attractions;
• Knowledgeable about gastronomic, cultural, and tourism trends and events;
• Dynamic, proactive, and service-oriented;
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;
• Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment;
• Hospitality education or training is an asset;
• Flexible availability (days, evenings, and weekends);
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English;
• Knowledge of a third language is an asset.
