Job summary

Town of Milton is seeking a part-time Concession Attendant to support food service operations at two venues: Milton Sports Centre and Sherwood Community Centre. You will handle food prep, serve customers, manage cash and maintain sanitary, organized workspaces in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates communicate well, show excellent customer service, and work effectively in a team. Prior POS experience is a plus; a criminal records check is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum grade 10 education.
• Must possess strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team, with minimal supervision in a fast pace work environment.
• Experience using POS is an asset.
• Preference will be given to those with food preparation or cash handling experience; Safe Food Handlers Certification is an asset.
• Successful candidates will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector screening dated within 6 months as a condition of employment.

• Assist in planning and delivery of concessions during special events.
• Comply with all health and safety practices as it relates to the work, standard operating guidelines and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary
The Town of Milton is accepting applications for the part‑time position of Concession Attendant. This position is responsible for food preparation, serving customers and other duties related to the operation of concessions. There are two locations: Milton Sports Centre and Sherwood Community Centre. The Town is looking for dynamic, responsible individuals able to work in a fast paced work environment that possess excellent customer service skills.
