Animal Care Centre of Strathmore in Strathmore, AB, is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. You will create a warm environment, manage a multiline phone system, book appointments, respond to emails, and assist with invoicing and payments.

Work with a collaborative team to provide outstanding client experiences and high-quality veterinary care for animals large and small. Availability on Saturdays is required in a vibrant clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in front-office reception in a veterinary or medical setting preferred.
• Ability to manage a multiline phone system and coordinate appointments.
• Strong communication and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming environment for patients and pet parents.
• Answer a multiline phone system and track/book appointments.
• Place outbound calls for follow-up and future bookings.
• Respond to and manage email correspondence with clients and referring veterinarians.
• Admit and discharge pet patients and handle invoicing and payments.
• Schedule appointments and maintain clean reception areas.
• Deliver excellent customer service and teamwork.
