Job summary

VCA Canada is seeking a friendly Client Care Representative for a mixed animal hospital in Strathmore, AB. You will greet clients and pets, manage schedules, and maintain accurate records while delivering exceptional service to small and large animals.

The role requires previous veterinary clinic experience, strong communication, multitasking ability, and a team-oriented, compassionate approach. Weekend and some holidays may be needed in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic setting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Passion for helping animals and their owners
• Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails, providing excellent customer service
• Schedule appointments and procedures, ensuring efficient use of hospital resources
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and inventory management
• Assist with patient care and treatment when necessary
• Ensure the hospital is clean and organized
