Job summary

Eatonville Care Centre in Etobicoke, Ontario is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate resident‑focused care on a casual basis. The starting wage rate is $ 36.06/hour.

The RN reports to the Director of Care and will oversee care delivery, documentation, and regulatory compliance. The role requires leadership of the nursing team, administration of medications, health assessments, and participation in quality indicators and improvement initiatives, with a commitment to kindness and resident

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as Registered Nurse.
• Basic CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care is an asset.
• Knowledge of RAI-MDS - AIS certification or be willing to complete within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify care plans based on residents' health needs.
• Liaise with other health care personnel, agencies and families.
• Supervise unit activities and oversee PSW/RPN performance.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy and report errors.
• Document nursing observations and maintain records per regulations.
• Assess changes in health status and communicate with SDM/POA and team.
