AgeCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Mississauga to provide direct resident care according to care plans and support a safe living environment for residents, families, and staff.

The role requires PSW certification, adherence to vocational standards, and knowledge of basic sanitation and geriatrics. You will participate in training, collaborate with the team, and support onboarding of new staff.

Formación

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care to residents; sanitation basics; geriatric needs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in monitoring care per plan of care by observing residents and reporting to supervisor.
• Assist in documentation of care information as directed.
• Attend in-service education, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding new staff per direction.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
