Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks Personal Support Workers to assist residents with daily living activities, provide compassionate care, and document care in electronic health records. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, resident-centered service.

Applicants should have PSW certification (or be internationally educated nurses), strong communication, teamwork and time management, and a willingness to participate in onboarding and ongoing training at our Mississauga

Qualifications

• PSW certification from a certified educational facility or internationally educated nurse.
• Strong drive, respect and understanding of the role's emotional and physical demands.
• Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver on all personalized activities of daily living for residents.
• Document completion of tasks on an electronic health record platform.
• Communicate resident care needs to clinical leads.
• Identify changes in resident care needs and report promptly.
