Job summary

AgeCare Ltd. is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide resident care according to individualized care plans and help identify resident needs. You will help maintain a safe, respectful environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The role requires graduation from a PSW certificate/diploma program and adherence to minimum standards set by Ontario authorities; you will participate in in-service education, onboarding of new staff, and uphold infection prevention policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate PSW certificate/diploma required.
• Must meet Ontario training standards as described.
• Knowledge of basic bedside care procedures and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care per established plan and report findings to supervisor.
• Document resident information as directed.
• Attend in-service sessions, staff meetings and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding of new staff.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
