Job summary

Optima Living seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team in Alberta. Reporting to the Director of Care, you will provide high-quality nursing services to residents with a focus on dignity, comfort, and person-centered care.

You will collaborate with physicians, Health Care Aides, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, manage medications, and support residents and families in planning for ongoing health needs.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an approved school of nursing.
• Active CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to guide Health Care Aides and other team members.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and contribute to resident care plans under direction.
• Assist with medications, treatments, and patient education.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Support move ins/outs and end-of-life care with dignity.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
