AgeCare invites qualified Health Care Aides to join our team. As part of a caring, resident-centered environment, you will provide basic care under a Staff Nurse, assist with transfers, meals, and daily activities, and help ensure comfort and safety.

A PCA/HCA certificate and CLHA registration are preferred, with a supportive, inclusive culture and opportunities for growth. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a community-focused workplace across Alberta facilities.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• One year of experience in continuing care or related environment preferred.
• Completion of a recognized PCA/HCA certificate or equivalent education.
• Active registration with the CLHA or Alberta Health Care Aides body.

Responsabilités

• Bath, wash, and care for residents per care plan to support comfort and well-being.
• Assist with transfers and mobility using appropriate lifting devices and PPE.
• Assist with feeding and meal times according to dietary plans.
• Provide routine treatments and basic care under supervision of a Staff Nurse.
• Support residents' movement to activities and dining areas.
• Help residents access beauty/parlor, physiotherapy, and recreation activities.
• Accompany residents to social/therapy events within the facility.
