AgeCare Ltd. in Edmonton is seeking a Health Care Aide to join our care team. Under the supervision of a Staff Nurse, you will deliver safe basic care to residents, helping with daily activities and care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in continuing care or related environment.
• Post-secondary education an asset.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Bath, shower, and wash residents to promote comfort under water temperature controls.
• Assist with transfers using lifts and transfer belts.
• Feed residents during meals and coordinate with care plans.
• Provide routine skin care and other basic procedures under supervision.
• Support residents in moving around the facility and attending activities.
• Escort residents to dining rooms, beauty parlor, physiotherapy, and recreation.
