Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 10 education is required.
• Health Care Aide certificate must be obtained from an approved program.
• Registered with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Document and report care observations to nursing staff in a timely manner.
• Support safety and emergency procedures and maintain privacy and dignity.
• Demonstrate pro-active learning and contribute to a collaborative team.
• Participate with interdisciplinary team to review resident care needs.
