Qualifications

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Supply and empty bed pans.
• Take blood pressure, temperature and pulse of patients.
• Serve meal trays and feed patients.
• Weigh, lift, turn and position patients.
• Make beds and maintain patient rooms.
• Supervise the exercise routines of patients.
• Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas.
• Keep a supply inventory.
• Bath, dress and groom patients.
• Transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher.
• Respond to call signals.
• Collect specimens.
• Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilising surgical areas.
• Accompany patients on outings and recreational activities, and other duties related to patient care and comfort.
• Administer first aid in emergency situations.
