Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Relevant experience as dietary aide or in hospitality/customer service is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic food preparation and serve meals according to therapeutic diets and portion standards.
• Set, clear, clean, and sanitize dining spaces.
• Maintain cleaning duties or follow the posted cleaning schedule for the day.
• Monitor and restock service areas.
• Observe HACCP guidelines to ensure safe food handling and preparation methods.
• Follow WHMIS and MSDS guidelines when using cleaning chemicals and sanitizers.
• Support with special function catering as delegated.
